About the Author Dr. Cohen has authored many publications, including articles published in the New England Journal of Medicine, the Journal of the American Medical Association, Circulation, and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, as well as written an upcoming book geared to patients with heart rhythm problems. In the past he has helped as section editor of the Electrophysiology Corner in the Journal of Invasive Cardiology and served as Editor-in-Chief for EP Lab Digest (currently he helps and serves on the board of both journals). He has served as principal investigator of numerous investigator-initiated studies and multi-center trials, including SCD-HeFT and the EnRhythm MRI trial. He has over 20 U.S. patents, and has licensed and/or sold inventions to several leading companies in the field of electrophysiology, catheter ablation, implantable devices, and robotics. Dr. Cohen is on the advisory board of the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association, a not-for-profit patient advocacy charity. He is married to his loving wife, Jill, and has two children, a sixteen-year-old son, Justin, and a thirteen-year-old daughter, Brittany. |
