Todd J. Cohen, M.D.

Dr. Todd Cohen is the Director of Electrophysiology and the Director of the Pacemaker-Arrhythmia Center at Winthrop University Hospital, Long Island, NY. He is an associate professor of medicine at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

Dr. Cohen has authored many publications, including articles published in The New England Journal of Medicine, The Journal of the American Medical Association, Circulation, and The Journal of the American College of Cardiology. He is the section editor of the Electrophysiology Corner in The Journal of Invasive Cardiology and the Editor-in-Chief of EP Lab Digest. He has served as principal investigator of numerous investigator-initiated studies and multicenter trials including SCD-HeFT. He has approximately 20 U.S. patents, and has licensed inventions to several leading companies in the field of electrophysiology, catheter ablation, and implantable devices. He is married to his loving wife, Jill, and has two children, a twelve-year-old son, Justin, and a nine-year-old daughter, Brittany.
